Kabuto Sushi Bar & Grill

The wait to be seated wasn't long at all which was surprising being that it was Friday after 6. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. The best part was our chef!! His name was "kilo" and he was amazing! Very entertaining and engaged with us during the whole thing! The food was good and they give you a lot!!! We will definitely be back and will only ask to sit at his table.

Our chef appeared to be somewhat inexperienced. He was entertaining for the kids but didn't seem to have much of a repertoire of skills. Just the usual basics. The food was somewhat overcooked but still tasted edible. The service was good and I'm sure we will go back for special occasions like this one.

I took my fiance here while we were visiting Charlotte. He has never had hibachi until this experience. The chef was super funny and engaging and the food was amazing, as always. The only thing I am not a huge fan of is having to sit with strangers, especially when we are placed with some snobby stuck up rich kids that are very rude to the staff.

I've always loved this place. It was or anniversary. You can have the hibachi made to order before the chef comes out. It seems the chef's are getting younger and younger these days too. This is the perfect place for a birthday get together or anniversary get together or any type of get together you can think of. When you come please make sure to bring your appetite because the amount of food you receive is well worth the amount you're paying. The server that we had was absolutely amazing and just as funny as she wanted to be. I wish I could remember her name but I cannot.

Go to Kabutos! The food was so plentiful and delicious I forgot to take pics! We made a reservation (they require reservations on the weekends) for 6pm and we were seated promptly! Wonderful! My mom ordered a small sake but the waitress told us that she accidentally made a large one but we will be charged for a small. Fantastic! Your meal comes with salad which is nothing more than iceberg lettuce but the lettuce was crisp and cool! Your meal also comes with clear soup, appetizer shrimp, garlic noodles, fried rice and veggies, then you pick your protein. I got steak and shrimp, my steak was so tender and I got the NY strip so I was pleasantly surprised at how tender it was. Chef gave me plenty of shrimp. I had so much left over! Chef was playful and put on a great show. My parents loved their meals (we went for an early Father's Day) and the hubs loved his too. Kabuto is hands down the best Japanese steakhouse and we will return!

Had dinner at Kabuto's with a big group to celebrate at birthday. The atmosphere is cool as the chef is cooking right in front of you. There are many options to choose from, and I tried the chicken and shrimp hibachi. It comes with fried rice and noodles. I also tried their sushi, which was excellent. This is a fun dining experience to go with a large group. Come hungry as you will eat a lot of food.
