Mama's Carribean Grill

Best oxtails I've ordered in Charlotte since I moved here 7 years ago and it so worth the period. It was literally falling off the bone and so juicy. The cabbage was so flavor full. Next time, I'm gonna try the curry coat. 20.50 for the small and still a nice fair amount of food I even let my son who is non. Verbal with cerebral palsy and autism taste the food. I think he likes it And he don't like anything that is table food besides puree and cheetah puffs. And oodles and noodles. LOl 😂 but yeah you go there and see for yourself I gave them 5 stars for the food. 5 stars for the service and 5 stars for the atmosphere make that 15 stars. I was thanking God so much for my food Because I prayed before I went that I do not spend that much money not like the food that I buy.

Walked into the restaurant and was greeted by all the staff with love. I ordered LG Oxtail combo and its rice/peas, Mac & Cheese, and cabbage. The food was delicious(as you can tell looking at the picture). They were unfortunately out of plantains when I visited. :( Great experience and would recommend for anyone.

I have to admit only Jamaican spot that was open after 7pm that I found. I end up losing my wallet there. Woke the next day looking foe it and remembered that was my last stop before heading home. Lord behold they found it and held it for me.. Cabbage has great favor. Goat was tender to the bite. They was pretty busy for my first time I'm have to try it again

Date night on a Tuesday. I'd never been here and the love of my life loves Caribbean food. He is from Barbados. The gentleman that served us was very polite and helpful. He was patient with me when I was ordering because I had no clue. They play reggae so it got my love in the dancing mood which is not something that happens on a regular basis lol. So while we waited for our food we danced. It was a Tuesday evening, so it was just the two of us that were dining in. There were plenty of take out orders. I got off work at 7:30pm so I was grateful for the hospitality. They served our food hot and great portion sizes. I would recommend trying Mama's punch. It was awesome and I don't drink alcohol so it was an actual fruit punch with fruits I've never had. I loved the atmosphere. We will go back again. I had curry shrimp and he had goat
