This was my go to place when I lived in Charlotte I had a layover so went to get lunch OMG the food was amazing tasted like the first time the guy on the grill is a wizard the sweet tea has just the right amount of sugar hands down one of the best eats in town and breakfast is just as amazing im based in Maryland now and there is nothing like this place around MR Gs is a home town treasure

This place is excellent! They have great staff, friendly atmosphere, and excellent sanitation rating. There sure were a lot of costumers stopping by at lunch time, which tells me this place has good quality food. I ordered the 1/2 lb Burger, 2 Hot Dogs, and 4 Wings & Fries to go. Get each of these and you'll get two sweet teas; which are tasty. It sure was a lot of food than I expected. I guarantee this can either make a great dinner, or a good lunch to share with a buddy. Again, the food I ordered was delicious! Please stop by when you get a chance!

We tried Mr. G's for lunch today and were very impressed. The bacon double cheeseburger was excellent and the fries were crispy. We also tried a breakfast platter (breakfast served all day!) The hot cakes that came with it were fluffy and just the right amount of sweet. We will definitely be back!

I had a bacon cheeseburger combo with one piece of fried flounder. Last I remember the burgers were hand patted and amazing! This time, my burger was prepared from frozen and not as tasty. The slaw and chili were tasty though. I do; however, prefer fresh ground beef over frozen. Also, it seemed like the grease to fry the flounder was up too high and the outside was crunchy while the inside was not fully cooked. I brought it to the server's attention and they prepared me another piece, but with the same result. Next time, I'll either try a different type fish or stay away from it all together.
