Curry N Cake

Curry and Cakes restaurant is my go to spot for Indian food, they offer delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. We have ordered variety of dishes such as Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutter Paneer, Chole Bhatura, Idli and they have all been amazing. I am a big fan of Kerala chicken curry and Kerala Biryani that they serve. The portion sizes are generous. We also love the cakes (including eggless cakes) that they offer. I highly recommend Curry and cakes restaurant for anyone who loves Indian food, especially Kerala cuisine. It is a place where you can enjoy great tase, authentic flavors and quality ingredients. It is one of the best restaurants in the area and I can’t wait to go back again.

I recently dined at curry and cake and I must say, their Malabar chicken biryani and tandoori kabab were absolutely exceptional. The Malabar chicken biryani was a fragrant and flavorful delight, with perfectly cooked rice and tender chicken. The tandoori kabab was incredibly succulent, with a mouthwatering blend of spices.

We tried Malabar Biriyani at Curry n Cake this last Sunday and really liked it. It had a nice flavor of the Jeerakasala rice, ghee and garnishing, was served with Raita and Pickle as sides. We also had Kerala Porotta and Fish curry and both were ok, and Egg Puffs were good. They have Malayalee chef and probabaly we will try other Kerala dishes in the future !!

This place is usually great, I’ve had no problems with the food in fact the food is why I always come back. However they recently changed their ordering systems. So ordering online no longer goes right to their kitchen’s system. So when you order online and show up to the restaurant to pick up that’s when they put the order into the kitchen. Totally backwards and bonkers. I wish they’d fixed this. It used to be so seamless.

Curry n Cake is a great place to get an Indian snack or Indian style cakes, especially if you want to special order any cake. They have this whole section for egg free pastries and cakes. You can also special order egg free cakes here, so that is great if you have an egg allergy or don't eat eggs for health or religious reasons. Their food is very good, but the store is not very big so it can get crowded during lunch rush. I prefer to take dessert cakes to go from here instead of eating in. Their mango cake and tiramisu cake are delicious. Their masala chai tea is excellent and worth the drive there!
