Fried chicken is good & Mac & cheese was pretty good. I didn’t care for the bbq short ribs but everything else I’ve tried so far was pretty good

I was really impressed as a first-timer. This establishment is small but nice & clean. The front staff ladies were welcoming, attentive to evry customer and friendly. The menu offers a variety of options that are reasonably priced. I had a little wait for my carryout (chicken & fish plate), but it was well worth the wait! The food was great! 😋 Hats off to the cooks.
The only downside was that the parking was very limited. (But I arrived during the lunch hours). I was also impressed to see that they have an outside dining area. Great for nice sunny days. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This place reminds me of a soul food restaurant I used to frequent in South Carolina. There is a wait for the food but it’s DEFINITELY worth it. The chicken was fresh and hot and seasoned to perfection and their Arnold Palmers are the best. Everyone was friendly and I’ll definitely be going back.

The fried chicken was good. I would have loved if it were seasoned a bit better, but it was crispy and good. The beef ribs were a bit dry and was just okay. The mac and cheese, potato salad, and hush puppies were all great. I woo have loved larger portions of the sides, but no complaints on what was provided. Onion rings suck! All food was fresh made to order. The wait was about 25 minutes. Would advise you call in order. Fountain drinks have a great ghetto kool aid taste. Parking lot is tight and people park anywhere not caring if they block you in to go in and order or pick up their food. Service was great. The ladies were patient with me and answered questions I had with no attitude. Will be back for sure next time to try the fish.
