Civetta Italian Kitchen + Bar

This restaurant is wonderful and always seems to be not as busy as other restaurants on a Fri or Sat. and I can never figure out why. The food is delicious, the drinks are cold, the staff is always on point and the ambiance is excellent. Bad for them but good for us because there never seems to be a wait to get in. If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant put this on your list, you won't be disappointed.

There were a few staffing issues when we first arrived for dinner and the manager was clear to let us know what was going on. He happily stepped in and took care of our table until the staffing issue was resolved. Our food was great and you could tell that it was homemade and that it didn’t come from a package. The food was absolutely phenomenal, elegant yet homey atmosphere, and wonderful service (from both the manager and our server).

Right off the bat, this place is wonderful. The environment is classy and the vibes are confident. All the staff that we interacted with were wonderful, it was a busy Friday night and everything was on point. I also got the Fettuccine Alfredo because 🤷‍♀️ of course, and it was fantastic. The risotto was also phenomenal. as well as the drinks (we got the Mule and Margherita from the menu), props to the bartender. Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner (plus her eyeliner was 🔥) 10/10 would recommend coming here. We will be back!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Dinner entrees are reasonably priced I got the "brick chicken" it was very good and only $18 me and the family really enjoyed ourselves. The bartender swears he makes a great whiskey sour though I can not vouch for that we are looking forward to going back and the wife and I will take him up on this.

We came here on our 3rd wedding anniversary for takeout! We were not disappointed. Very nice manager/hostess greeted us! He wanted to make sure that we had a good waiting experience. The man at the bar was not friendly at all. That is why I didn’t give this place five stars. The food was so awesome! It’s exactly the food that I’ve been wanting for a long time. I would definitely go back when I’m in Charlotte.
