Lenny's Sub Shop #81

I just moved here from Jersey so I am used to a mom/pops type of shop. I cannot stand Jimmy John's so I wasn't looking for a chain shop(Jimmy John's,Jersey Mike's, etc.). This shop is amazing. I ordered online and the order was ready for pick up. I called to change something on my order and it was nothing short of perfect! I will definitely be back when I am in the mood for another sandwich! I almost ate the paper! Awesome job! :)

This week I have been to Lenny's twice and each time I ate the delicious Philly Cheese steak with grilled onions, mushrooms, mayo w/salt & pepper. I loved it! It's better than Firehouse Sub...to me! The bread was so soft and fresh. The chocolate cookies are big and the pink lemonade is awesome. Please put a Lenny's in the University area. The staff was nice also.

Until taking my co-workers' recommendations on going to Lenny's, I had never had never tried their subs out and for a sub shop I was pleased. Lenny's reminds me most like another fairly popular sub shop that has a certain northern state name association. Both establishments slice the meat that you put on your sub when you order. Where Lenny's is quite different in my humble opinion is the following: - The Team: The team that puts your sandwich together is a well oiled machine (and you don't have to get oil on your sub if you don't want to). - The pepper relish: If you like to add a little zest to your sub, be sure to order it with pepper relish. It will make your sub taste awesome! - The hot subs: I haven't tried these yet but, the other sub shop I'm eluding to doesn't offer grilled hot subs like Lenny's does. - The engagement: Each time I've visited Lenny's I've been greeted like I'm family. This in a chain restaurant is really cool. And you get coupon's for your next visit, every time you visit! By far, for a chain sub establishment I have to say that if I could give Lenny's Sub Shop 5 plus stars, I would!
