Charlotte Cafe

I've heard about this place since I've moved and decided to check them out since I had a day off. The breakfast special was delicious and at a good price. The coffee was good & hot and staff is really friendly. They will ask for tips in cash but they explain why & it made sense to me. I'll take my family back for dinner soon.

I'm a bit baffled by the negative reviews here. I've been eating here for years, and most recently brought my parents wh were visiting. There was a bit of a wait -- to be expected as this place is popular -- but not too long. My parents are bothe elderly and PICKY eaters and the wait staff was patient and informative about the options and food ingredients. I have NEVER had a problem with the quality of food, or the cleanliness of the establishment. My repeated business is a testament to that. If you want good comfort food, this is the place to go.

We went to Charlotte Cafe for the first time today and had very pleasant experience. Hostess and our waitress were phenomenal, very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and came to our table quickly. We walked in on a Sunday at 9:45am and there was no wait. Overall, we were very pleased and will be back!

The food is pretty good diner food. The service was very slow, but they were attentive. I was concerned about what we would be eating when we sat so long waiting for our food to be brought out that I had time to notice that the whole place needed a thorough cleaning. If it looked cleaner, I would go there often. Maybe we just caught them at a bad time (4:00 ish on a Saturday). There were people constantly working, but it just seems like a place with a slow southern pace.
