I am a big fan of chicken livers, and indeed they nail it. Although is a fry dish. It wasn’t greasy and it tastes good. It wasn’t too salty and it feels good in my mouth. Will definitely recommend and come back to this location. Expect to wait outside for your takeout so bundle up is worth it.

1/2 fried chicken dinner was more than enough for one and some leftover. Flavor was great and service was friendly.

Staying by airport and this was one of the closest places and glad we chose it. We got chicken dinners which I didn't see on menu. Cashier said they made fresh and it would be 20 minutes but they happened to just fry some so no wait. It was good and hot with a load of the best fries. Only thing I wished the breading had some seasoning. But the chicken was nice and juicy. Staff was very nice.

Always good service and food. I live in Dallas,NC. When I go to the Veterans hospital, I stop here for a huge porkchop sandwich

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid and they have still provided the same outstanding food all these years the price is reasonable the food always hot and fresh the people are hard workers come enjoy the southern style love we have on the westside ….

The manager/ order taker were friendly, courteous and respectful, after receiving our orders that's my wife and I I'm going to tell you those chicken wings and fries I mean they was on point freshly cooked hot you can't be with a 10-ft pole, my wife had the hamburger steak dinner it was on point as well. We waited outside for our dinners because the inside was closed because of the time frankly the wife and I didn't care because after receiving our food like I said it was on time. Believe me this isn't the last time going there, they need to put the hamburger steak dinner on the bottom with the other takeout orders.

I bought my house here on West Boulevard. 14 years ago. Chicken King has always been here. The food is great. The service is amazing. They are a hidden gem in the neighborhood! I hope as this neighborhood changes and grows Chicken King will remain an amazing asset!
