Tropical Goodies Restaurant

I've come to the Lasalle location a few times. I was introduced to it by a friend and fell in love with their food. The jerk chicken is always tender. The cabbage has a little spice to it just like I like it. I get the vegetable plate alot because the food is just that good without the meat. Ive tried their coconut cake which is very moist and good. All their food is nice and hot and you do get a pretty nice serving. Customer service is great. Angie is usually fixing the plates. Both her and the cashiers are always so friendly. They always show you your plate before you leave out to ensure you're satisfied with what you've received. This take out only. Many of us will sit in the car, such as myself, and eat sometimes because the food is so good. You don't want to wait sometimes to get home. The food is a little pricey but worth it. I do recommend that you try this restaurant. (Food I've tried: jerk chicken, collards, potato salad, corn, yams, cabbage, green beans, Mac n' cheese, beans and rice, fried plantains, fried wingettes,coconut cake)
