Kabuto Japanese Steak House

They open for dinner at five. We arrived right after five and were the first people there. There was about a 20 minute wait in which they were probably getting our food prepped. Another couple came and sat on the opposite end of the table with us. they prepared both parties food everything was great, well seasoned, and the steak was cooked to the correct temperature. The Large warm sake was short or small. Waitress did let us know that up front.

MY sushi was wonderful. My HUSBAND'S food was nonexistent. Server (who was wonderful and VERY attentive) continued to come back and tell him, "just a little bit longer due to so many to go orders." We finally just gave up and left. LOVED the dress code signs at the front, btw. Like I said, everything but my husband's ever growing hunger, was awesome.

Everything was incredible and perfect right up to the moment in the middle of our meal that our sever asked if we were ready to pay. The chef we had was awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire presentation and the food my gosh was cooked to absolute perfection!! My boyfriend and I were the first table to be seated. We were celebrating my birthday. Which was mentioned at the door. So why she felt the need to interrupt our meal and have us pay is absolutely beyond understanding!! Thank you for almost ruining my birthday date!!

Kabuto's is my favorite restaurant and I don't get to go very often due to cost but when I want a special treat, it's one of the first thoughts. I love everything about it! Food was great. Service was great but I always seem to get the one person who doesn't do very much. No shrimp throw, no little finale, just the onion choo choo.

Very hard to find true hibachi restaurants in Charlotte that give dinner and the show. This one was exceptional! We had a large party and they were able to accommodate us on a Friday night without reservations. The service was fast, accurate, and friendly. We had a kids table (11-12 yo) and an adult table. The chef for the kids was phenomenal. Engaging and a prankster! Those boys loved it! There was so much food and it was all delicious. Highly recommend!!
