Pizza Hut

Grab pizza from this location regularly. The staff are friendly and polite, and they’re extremely efficient (for pickup). Their delivery can be lengthy upwards of an hour usually. Pizza is typical Hut pizza, nothing overly special here. Their boneless wings are pretty good, however, it’s hit or miss whether their fryer is working so their wings are like a delicacy. Decent location overall. Easy in and out off Providence Road and easy parking.

Wish they had a zero or I had checked your reviews before I ordered. Was out on a job today got hungry so I thought well I will order a pizza. That was absolutely the worst pizza I have ever had delivered. I would like to get my money back plus my 5 dollar tip. If you don't care any more than that you need to quit selling food. The pizza was raw and not even cut. It was like someone had dropped it and all the toppings slid to one side. You do the math. I wish I could sell you something worthless and see your response.

This is the most consistently bad pizza delivery establishment I've ever used. I have had problems with them many times over the years but tonight takes the cake. Tonight, after waiting almost an hour and a half for my food, I had "the manager" lie to me about having remade my food so that it wouldn't be cold. She told me she made me a fresh pizza and cut it so that it wouldn't be in the hot box, but I only ordered wings. I have consistently given them more and more chances because I prefer their food over Domino's or PJ's.....no more.

Called 15 minutes before they closes and was on hold for 10 minutes for them to tell me it was too late to order a pizza. When I had pizza delivered the boxes were crushed and the pizza toppings all over the box. Then when I was given coupons for free pizza they would not accept them. Finally after speaking to a district manager the coupons were accepted. Most ridiculous time getting any sort of decent service. Use the Ballantyne location instead.

Never ordering from this place again!!! Ordered 1 pizza @ 8:34, told us it would be 35 mins. for delivery, and got the cold pizza at 10:15!!! And when we called to check on it no one would answer. Don’t expect this business to last for long. Definitely taking my business elsewhere. Save your time the trouble and order from another place!!

Would not recommend ordering from this Arboretum Pizza Hut. Terrible service. The employees there are not very smart. Maybe 3rd grade level education. One star review because there isn't an option for negative 5 stars. Whomever is in charge of online ordering there is incompetent of doing their job correctly. Two deliveries in a row, a few months apart, was trying to give this Pizza Hut the benefit of the doubt. First time ordered 10 pizzas which were never delivered, called a liar and was never refunded. Had to go to my bank to dispute charges. Recently, pre-ordered two large pizzas, breadsticks and a 2-liter Pepsi for my employees for lunch. Was delivered one large and one medium pizza only. I did not know until later that day bc I wasn't present at time of delivery. Hard to dispute several hours later without an itemized receipt from delivery person. Seriously, use Papa John’s. This Arboretum Pizza Hut is bad at everything. Maybe I'm the idiot bc I got taken twice by the same establishment.

When I went to order my pizza the cashier got my order wrong so I asked for me refund and she refused to. So I politely asked her for her name so I could talk to the manager about her cooperation. But she refused to I kept at a calm attitude and she was very angry and very curt. When I asked again she went inside the kitchen saying I’m done with this, that was today Friday November 30 2018 around 9:30. I put the date here so if the manager or better yet the store owner see’s this they can look at the work chart to know who I am talking about. I called tonight at around 8:30pm to order a meal for my family, as we are spending this time together finishing up our holiday with one another. I called for delivery to find they had a 70 minute lead time so we opted for pick up. I asked to order the big family box with 3 medium pizzas. They said they were out of the rectangular pans so we changed our order to, 2 medium 2 topping and 1 large 1 topping, a family alfredo and 36 wings. I was placed on a "cold hold" without any verbal communication, I was cut off from speaking to hear the music you hear on hold. Another man picks up and rudely says that i will have to pay with credit card. I said that I would like to finish ordering first and he said we got it and he started naming it back to me and then said "so are you gonna pay with a credit card?" I asked why I wouldn't be able to pay when we arrive and he said "we've been burned before." The tone he used combined with the impression that he thought I was a criminal baffled me and upset me. He could have kindly stated that due to the large order we would need to pay ahead of time if that was a policy but instead I was treated as if I was a nuisance and as if I was trying to pull a fast one on them. I said that I would be calling another pizza hut instead to order my food and he replied, "Please do." *click* He hung up on me, treated me very disrespectfully. I called back because that is unacceptable to treat a paying customer this way. I asked to speak with the manager and he asked how he could rectify the situation and I said that I didn't know but we were just treated very poorly and he said well I'll have a talk with them. He said his name was Tommy and the man speaking rudely was Tony and that's it. I called the another pizza hut. Placed the same order. Was treated kindly. DID NOT HAVE TO PAY OVER THE PHONE. It is only a 25 minute wait and the man used excellent customer service skills. Also, they got our $100 worth of business. Kindness goes a long way. Good job Pizza Hut in Matthews, NC. It is an awful feeling to be treated as if you are a criminal just because you have a large family to feed. Shame on you guys. Do better.
