Was a great experience. Not too loud, well lit. Great place to engage in conversation. Mr. Ratan, a stalwart in the ITC group, took good care of us and made the experience even better. Kudos to him.

The Durrant's bar at the WelcomHotel is one of those rare places that make you feel like a royal and have you "feel at home" at the same time.
I felt totally at place while engaging with Ratan, the "boss" at the bar. He came across as an extremely humble, well-mannered and genial individual.
The place as such is extremely relaxed, quiet and perfect for spending a couple of hours in peace. \m/

Silent and nice place to have a bite

It's the pleasant bar, that I always love to spend with my friend. It's old chola hotel, now its welcome hotel(after ITC regrouped). One would wonder, how this place has such a nice ambience, coz the woods, chairs, table are so antique and well maintained till date. Service is always a bit slow. But you wont feel the pain of waiting. Durrant.. the favorite and always will be for me.
