A very good Arabian restaurant to try out in Chennai. Famous for tasty haleem and hyderabadi biryani. The menu is not cheap but you get what you pay for (Good taste). Good ambiance and spacious seating. I believe take away is on the ground floor and dine in on the first floor. Parking is available for both cars and motorcycles.

We were here for dinner on a rainy evening just short of the deadly cyclone Michaung. As if there was no tomorrow the place was packed and a long wait at the doors. Somehow we found a table and ordered quickly in ordered to leave asap. Service was prompt and Swift. The waiter suggested some speciality dishes but we chose a mixed a la carte menu. Food, however, wasn't at its best. The taste, serving and the appeal didn't justify the cost, unfortunately. The ambiance was however acceptable with a simple but effective interiors. Overall it was a okay experience.

My family Visited last week. Not me (As I'm out of India). Love this place ! The food is all so discovering hidden culinary treasures in the heart of Greater Chennai. Food was superb. Blended mutton and lentils, served with crispy fried onions and lemon.(Mutton Haleem). Service was both attentive and informative. I can recommend anyone to visit this place for food.

Recently visited the Abids Restaurant situated in Egmore, the restaurant was recently renovated and they are still working on a few interior decors. We ordered a variety of dishes from their menu, which offers a range of cuisines such as Arabian, Hyderabadi, North Indian, Seafood, Oriental, and Desserts. The food was delightful and well-prepared, with generous portions and authentic flavours. Some of the dishes that we enjoyed were the Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani, the Barbeque Chicken, the lamb Seekh and Pathar Ka Gosht, the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that they offer. Would highly recommend it if you are dining with a large group. Certainly one of the best meat frenzy places to visit. One critic that I want to point out, the staff were constantly trying to clear the tables off before all the folks finished dining.

Last time we got Chicken Shawarma. Very average. Shawarma was cold as well This time we had to dine in and I have to say that the food was amazing . Mutton Haleem - so yummy and authentic 9/10 Butter naan - 8.5/10 Garlic naan - 8/10 Butter panner masala - 8.75/10 Hot chicken - 9/10 Masala omlette -8/10 Guys please note that the hot chicken is super spicy 🔥🥵 so if you cannot enjoy spicy food you may avoid it . But I enjoyed it . Tasty juicy super spicy chicken . Will try chicken briyani next time .
