Cleo's Grill & Cafe

So, we went to Cleo's for team dinner for a group of 6 colleagues. We selected the place as it was a stone's throw from the Ramanujan IT City Park at Taramani which is 10mins away. Also, the reviews were good for the buffet rate of INR 680 per person including tax. Only one of us was a vegetarian! So obviously good value for money. The one thing we liked about Cleo's was the variety. Oh goodness gracious, we felt overwhelmed by the variety in both veg and non veg which the starters and the main course. The ambience is more suited for couples than for team dinners though the place is bit quiet and not large or roomy. Great service overall but I knocked off 1 star as I felt that the non veg starters had a lot more masala and spice than it should have. Something felt missing in the Peri Peri chicken starter. Point is you won't regret having a meal here as the place scores on value for money even if the taste isn't the best out there.

Different buffet experience!! Not the usual barbeque type starters, they serve everything in our table. Food quality was good. Starters were crispy and tasty. Main course was good too. Desserts were disappointing, total let down. If you don't have sweet tooth you can very well choose this restaurant for buffet.

One big reason to choose this restaurant would be the wide spread of starters that they offer. I was surprised that vegetarians like me also had a lot of options. Something that I have not seen in any other restaurants till now. The service was brilliant as well. The biggest drawback would be the extremely poor lighting and the desserts. Except the chocolate mousse everything else was forgettable. Definitely a place worth checking out if you are a person who places a lot of emphasis on starters.

Hype Demystified at Cleo”s Grill The Cleo was chosen for lunch owe to rating and proximity to Bessy! The experience was not so GrT when compared with the ratings on Google. The waiters are clueless of what’s on cards. Usually, the guys at restaurants offer tips to choose the menu, describe items, ask for preference etc. This was totally off the road at Cleo. The Broccoli soup Veg was messy, the soup was creamy white sauce made of all purpose flour and broccoli flavour was not their at all, only hard stem of broccoli was present. The prawn was charred and dry. The chicken skewers were moist but chewy. The curry served were almost the same for Rogan gosh, chicken butter masala or chicken tikka masala:-(. May be if you go without any expectations, you may like it. Happy eating.

Cleo's has always been on the list and somehow never got the chance to visit it. Finally after the visit, we were so satisfied with the food, ambience and the service. Mushroom and Cottage cheese steak was my favorite. It wasn't too heavy yet filled the tummy. Honey chilli potatoes were amazing. Will I go to this place again? Yes Would I recommend this place to others? Yes Costly? Yes Good Food? Yes Ambience? Good Service? Good

My first visit to this place. Its a good place with lovely food. The ambience was ok.the service was good though. We went for the buffet and the food was really good and worth the money. Both veg and non-veg was good. The one thing different about this buffet is that they serve everything on the table and they bring it and keep it on your table in bulks. Deserts were also good. Good food. Great ambience. The way the light is kept you can easily get some Instagram worthy photos. Food wise too the starters were tasty. Loved the chilly baby corn and dragon chicken. Main course wise it was okayish. The chicken tikka gravy was sub par. The dal fry was just dal with some salt. Panneer tikka was good though. The biryani was also nothing worth writing about. But the desserts was amazingly good. Especially the butterscotch ice cream was heavenly.
