Went to Besant nagar outlet for Lunch with family. It was exceptionally crowded as it was Christmas Day. Had to wait for almost 30 mins to get a table. No complaints it was not restaurant fault. Ordered chicken Rasam. It was very spicy. Ordered moru moru prawn, mutton kola, Pallipalayam chicken. All starters were very good. Particularly kola and pallipalayam chicken were exceptional. Main course chicken Biriyani and Kuska. Restaurant is known for its Briyani. It was really nice.
Enjoyed the food very well.

I had a great dining experience at Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurant in Besant Nagar. The food was delicious, and the flavors were authentic. The biryani was a standout, with perfectly cooked rice and tender meat. The service was prompt, and the staff was courteous. The ambiance could be improved for a more comfortable dining atmosphere, hence the four-star rating. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its tasty South Indian cuisine.

Very nice experience! Rush was low, staff was very attentive and the food was mind blowing! Had their chicken biryani for the first time. Chicken pieces were fresh and the spice level was apt. After a long day of travel, it was soul satisfying. I would like to mention Mr Shubhodeep Das who was very courteous and attended to us with a smile. Would highly recommend.

Was recommended for its Biryani but we wanted something lighter so tried the fried prawns (Moru Moru I think) and fish( the Tawa Meen Roast)
.Right next to the Besant Nagar Beach. Had friendly staff who explained the items Food quality was excellent Loved the Mayo they served with the dishes Reasonably priced.Enjoyed the experience

The special mutton biryani at this outlet is a must try. The rice used on not basmati but a special puffed rice which enhances the flavours. The staff is quite cordial too, prices are moderate to high.

Best Known for Thalapakatti Biriyani.. Visited here recently this place serves the best food in quality and quantity. The taste is too good. Yes the place good and ambient . This restaurant has a good maintenance . The service is quite good and encouraging, customers are well respected. Can visit here with family and friends for better kind of food.
Overall loved the Restaurant.
