Omar Khayyam Restaurant

I have been visiting this restaurant for more than 10yrs. It is located just opposite to Pothys showroom. Last time I visited with my family around 3pm. We ordered chicken briyani and prawn 65 and the total bill was around ₹900. Briyani taste is good but the quantity isn't sufficient, hence we were forced to order Kusha to compensate the chicken pieces. Customer service lagged a bit since it has pasted prime lunch time. Overall a decent restaurant in my opinion.

Visited this restaurant a couple of times for lunch while shopping in T.Nagar. I was a little skeptical given the approach to the restaurant where a small lift takes you to the third floor and the path is dimly lit. The place was pretty empty when I visited both times given it was after 3 pm. We had Briyani which was pretty decent and no complaints there. The non veg meals was also good but the quantity of rice could be more. We also had Schezwan fried rice, noodles and a few starters which were all tasty. But the quantity of starters need to be improved. You will not have any space to park your vehicles as it's on the main road. The spooky approach to the restaurant might put off some people but there isn't much that can be done there. If you're looking for a place to eat while shopping in T.Nagar, this place might just do the trick.

One of the best restaurant in chennai.. கார சார விருந்து..The best place to have non veg. Restaurant has a very nice ambiance and food is just delicious. must try Mutton Varuval... அட அட.. Side dishes are also awesome.. You will love it..I have been coming to this place for the past 5 years.. staff taking care.. Their BBQ is also good.. parking is not available..
