As we were going Towards Tirupati road our driver stopped over for breakfast. We got a mini tiffin. Which had: Masala Dosa
Vada
Idli
Pongal
Kesari
Sambar
Chutney
The masala dosa was crispy and it had apt amount of masala 4.5/5
The Vada was super crispy 5/5
Idli was soft, but not super soft 4/5
Pongal was so good, it had so much ghee in it. Best Pongal I had eaten in the recent times 5/5
Kesari also was good it had the right amount of sweet in it 4.5/5
After a good breakfast we had a coffee , which had the right amount of sugar and coffee 5/5
Overall a good place for breakfast . Total 4.5/5

We were on the way to Nagala Trekking from Chennai in the morning..We had a breakfast around 7am..Food is good and tasty..It is a good hotel with parking on the way.

Lunch at Akshaya Bhavan is divine. We ate Meals... It filled our stomach and heart definitely. Stand out is the kara kolambu.
Parking space is just perfect. This place is going to shine bright and loved by all.

Good place to satiate your hunger on the way to the Hill Temple of Thiruthani. This is in Thiruvallur, the only good hotel after Chennai. If you miss this then you may have to wait hours together to find another hotel. The place was heavily crowded for the obvious reasons. Food was tasty and authentic.

Akshaya Bhavan serves South Indian vegetarian food. They have both non AC as well AC dining. The toilets are decent here and there is ample parking out front. We had the meals here - it was okay. Quite decent. They also have a juice stall as well as sweets at the entrance.
