The best place to have afternoon meals in that vicinity for sure. Parking is an issue here.
The most important thing is this restaurant is fully air-conditioned. Chennai heat in the afternoons, this is very necessary.

If you're looking for a veg restaurant in Adyar don't look beyond VB. Tasty food served with care. Their staff retention rate is very high don't be surprised if the staff remembers your past order and asks if they should repeat :-)

When in need of South Indian lunch if I am in Adyar locality, this is my most preferred hotel. Best value for money. Food quality, quantity and service of their staff are excellent.
The only disadvantage is in finding a parking space and walking over to the hotel.

Food was good. Providing unlimited meals for 100. But service can be better. Staffs are not paying attention to the customers. They are simply relaxing and chit chatting. If staffs work properly, i would have give more than 5.

Awesome place to have lunch. Food quality is also good, but be careful if you are driving there, coz there is no parking place for car as it's on very crowded area/ road but for bike you will get some place to park

Completely satisfied with the taste of food. Whenever I get chance to eat outside, I prioritize eating in Vasantha Bhavan food chain because the quality of food, manner of serving and list of items remind me the traditional way of Indian feast when we used to sit down and have our food.
During the peak time there is heavy rush and may be you have to wait for sometimes. Here you can also get options for Chienese food, Tandoori, deserts and beverages.

Authentic South Indian food, all the hotel staff is very much friendly lovable & ladies old age staff is very kind you feel like you're in home and they are serving you a meal. Food is awesome

we went to have a lunch for 30 people on Sunday, its busiest time but they tried to manage us. they have to improve to manage such a crowd, it will take us 2 hours to complete our lunch. Car parking is good. Only Ac hall available their. Table service wise good they tried their best. Rice is not cooked fully, we ordered special meals but its take a half an hour to the get the meals to us. overall need to improve the service, food.
