Excellent location in Mylapore. Spacious store. The usual sweets and savouries that GSS is famous for. Murukku, thattai to name their top sellers. Efficient managed outlet. Quick service. Well stocked.

The best way to opine would be to compare with the head quarters in adyar. This is normal. Absurd to some. But imagine the warmth and the hospitality and the approach to each and every customer was phenomenal. When can we achieve this here?

Mylapore which is a strong hold of vegetarians. Its doesnt have a choice of great tasty vegetarian restaurant. Grandsweets is an exemption. This place scores full for the food it serves. Taste, quantity and quality of the food here is very good. They serve great south indian staples and specials like Curdvada, Pesarettu, adai aviyal, paruppu Poli, Thenga poli, pidi kozhukattai etc. Southindian meal is sumptuous with comes with lot of options on plate with rice. Ambiance part is average. Parking space is limited. It also serves wide variety of sweets and chats.

It is a calm and nice place to dine with family.Both the Tiffin and meals are available. Lunch is served between 12 and 3pm.Limited meal and north indian meals available. A sweet and savoury stall is there displaying variety of sweets and savoury.In addition ready made powders like dhall powder etc. are sold. Their famous tamarind paste(pulikaichal) and tokku varieties are also sold.North indian chats are available in the evening. The dinning area is air conditioned.
