I have found this branch to be very effective, the staff are polite, courteous and pretty knowledgeable. On the whole SBI has come a long way and they are certainly making strides to be a customer centric bank. Highly recommended.

SBI has turned its image around in the past many years to shed its typical government bank image. Everyone seems to work, everyone is responsive. This branch has this young assistant boy who checks everyone in and directs the flow as well as he can. Believe it or not but the fact that someone asking you what you want is a huge step in customer relations. Relative to the Canara Bank across the street and the Indian bank nearly, this bank deserves 5 stars. Minus 1 star for the non-functional token machine.

This State Bank of India branch is located on eighteenth main road opposite to Santosh Super market about three fifty metres away from Anna Nagar west bus depot. This branch is a small branch . Those working here are very helpful and friendly. There are enough chairs for the bank customers to sit. Joke apart, this branch is located on 18th Main Road in Anna Nagar Chennai and hence has got the name from its location itself. The interior of this branch has been recently renovated, with newer seats for Teller, Branch Manager, customers and visitors. There is an ATM facility and a Passbook printer machine in front of this branch.
