TN State Government's Handloom Textile Retail outlet. I was pleasantly surprised when my spouse had pointed out that the cotton handloom saree we had purchased had the weavers details tag attached to it along with the price tag. Innovative virtual offline connect to the weaver.

Very nice collection of handloom home furnishings- curtains, towels, table cloths, etc. The staff is very friendly and happy to show all the available choices. Please check shop timings and holidays before visiting since it runs on a government calendar

I have always been hesitant to visit Co optex showrooms. Hesitant because they are Govt run. Hesitant because i thought that the staff might not be willing to display their wares. But, i was proven wrong today. They had an excellent selection. Lovely! The quality of silk and zari was so good! The staff did a great job of ooening up the sarees for us...They also had a hefty discount sale going..soi purchased a gorgeous pink silk saree at an astounding price.
