Nordstrom

I would s ay that Nordstrom is my favorite department store, potentially my favorite store in general (besides Wawa). I recently moved to Philly and was somewhat bummed that the there is no location in Center City. There's a Nordstrom Rack, but in terms of selection, it's not a great location. I had an underwhelming experience at this store. I went to return a gift and exchange for gift card. I looked around the Men's Department for at least 15 minutes before I found someone that I assumed worked there. She was very helpful but not super friendly. They get three stars because their fall collections had just been stocked and the selection looked amazing. I love Nordstrom but this location seems to be lacking. They have always done such a great job of catering to customers, I though they would be fine post-Covid. However, if this is a sign of things to come, I may do most of my shopping online (with free shipping/returns).

I love Nordstrom!!! Today was my first time buying anything from here and I did order pickup. Unfortunately, I was last minute with a gift so my order wasn’t ready but Michelle RAN to get my order! She had great customer service and I was impressed. People just aren’t as friendly anymore !! Thank you michelle ❤️❤️

Beware. If you are choosing to buy designer shoes from this particular department store, DO NOT try them on at home. I typically buy direct from designer brands but this time Nordstrom was one of the only places with this shoe in stock. I got them shipped to me and tried them on at home, sadly to find they were not the right fit. I took the 25 minute drive to my nearest Nordstrom, because in-store returns are "convenient and easier" only to be told that the dust on the bottom of the shoe from my home floor made them unsellable. They refused to return and I was left to go and ship them back myself. Hopefully the return department is a bit more reasonable. Guaranteed, if I were to have tried these shoes on and walked the same 15 minutes around Nordstrom's floor, the same dust would be on the bottom of the shoe. Besides, what other option do I have as a customer but to try on something I ordered? My advice, by direct from designer. This policy at Cherry Hill Nordstrom only applies to designer. I called customer service to report this location's thin line policy. Just want to warn others... Try on in store and "damage" the bottom of the shoe on Nordstrom's floors instead of your own. Unfortunately, my sneakers both pair were refunded to me without notification that the items were available for pickup. I selected the email and text option and received neither; but I did get an email stating, I was given a refund. It would have been GREAT; to get a notification that the items would be returned to stock soon, if NOT picked up by a specified date.
