Eddie V's Prime Seafood

Eddie V's in Chicago is always a great experience. Most of the time I sit at the bar and Margaret and Alejandro are the best. I love that when I go there now the bartender Alejandro already knows my favorite drinks. When they had new drinks he always explained the changes and his recommendations based on what I like.. excellent work :). I really recommend going there..excellent drinks/food and service.

We stopped by Eddie V's this past Sunday to enjoy Happy hour before we heades to see The Wiz pre-broadway. This is only my 2nd time going to Eddie's & both times I've specifically came for the Happy Hour. I was very shocked & alittle sad when i found out they'll be closing their doors next month on Jan 19th😩 Hopefully I'll be able to make it back to try the dinner menu. But I'd highly recommend trying the HH menu. The crab cake is 1 of the best I've ever had. The drinks are on point also. I wasn't a huge fan of the fries, as they didn’t really taste like a truffle fry usually does. My bf didnt care for the filet bites either. I tried the cosmo & a vodka martini w/ vermouth. I didnt care for the cosmo but didn’t have time to try any of the other drinks. My bf tried the Bulliet & that was pretty good. I love the live music performer that was present. She had an Adelle spice about her & her voice was beautiful. This is definitely a nice spot for a post work wind down! Make sure you check them out before their last day!

I am a big fan of seafood so when I say I recommend Eddie v's I mean it! My sister treated me dinner here for my birthday which I never been. They have many choices of fine seafood dinners and plates. They serve alcohol and dessert while playing beautiful music at the same time. It is definitely going down on my list of favorite memories. Our beautiful server Ericka did an amazing job on recommending size proportions so we don't over or under eat. She definitely did a great job with the dessert show she did for us too. If you want to spoil yourself I highly advise you to come this way.

I went for my birthday a few months ago after receiving their email wishing me a happy birthday. I seen Banana’s Foster (my favorite) so I had to go!!! 😍 I had the Lobster Tacos🦞🌮 and Cesar Salad. A few weeks later I seen an Instagram post saying they plan to close January 14, 2024 🥺😢. This is the second time I’ve taken myself on a date here. I’ll try to find the pictures from when I went the first time. I hope they reconsider and stay open🥺. I enjoyed the live music with the piano and the lovely artists that come and sing.

I cannot say enough great things about the wonderful experience that I had at Eddie V's last night. My sister and I came here after receiving terrible treatment at Steak48, and I honestly wish that we had come to Eddie V's first instead. The service at Eddie V's compared to Steak48 was night and day. Upon arriving at Eddie V's (with no reservation, mind you), we were greeted so warmly and kindly by the hostess, Zonosh (apologies if I misspelled her name). We were seated quickly and received impeccable service from Tyler, who was incredibly personable and attentive. The gentlemen who brought the food out and bagged our leftovers were also super nice and professional. All around, the treatment was on par with what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Even the manager came by more than once to ensure that we were enjoying our meal and experience. The food at Eddie V's is always 10/10. We both had the fillets, which were cooked to a perfect medium rare. We also ordered the crab fried rice and Brussels sprouts. Everything was so good! I also had a Grey Goose cosmo that was perfectly balanced. I am a firm believer that rejection is protection. The experience at Eddie V's more than made up for the terrible customer service at Steak48. I am glad we ended up here instead. Keep up the good work!

Words can not describe how amazing my experience was at Eddie Vs. Meredith the host is so amazing. Ericka our server was also very delightful! I made reservation for my brothers birthday and they exceeded my expectations! 10/10 would recommend this place. Menu has sooo many options! cocktails were also amazing!!
