3rd Coast Cafe

I LOVE 3rd Coast Cafe! I have been going here since I moved to the Gold Coast in 1994. There isn't another restaurant like it in Chicago. The food is very fresh, portions generous & reasonably priced! The nightly specials are delicious and include a vegetable, starch, soup or salad. They are $18-$23. Where are you going to get this in the city? They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The servers are very efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and cute. It's the kind of place you feel comfortable going with friends or alone with a book. Do yourself a favor and check out 3rd Coast Cafe. Highly recommend!

We ate breakfast here 3 of our 4 days! Only didn't go the first day because we didn't know about it. Food was amazing. Super fresh, portion size was great and the wait staff was so good. Even the toast was good! I always think that is a true sign if a good breakfast place, when they take the time and care to even have good bread. The owner is incredible extremely friendly and wants everyone to have a great experience. If you are in the are this is a must visit spot.

Busy restaurant! We got so lucky to be seated right away! Servers were friendly! Our food came pretty quick with big portion! We love our food here. I got stuffed french toast with sourdough, it came with banana and walnuts. My husband got Polish sausage with egg and hash brown. Good spot for brunch and price is not pricey! Good price in the nice neighborhood!
