A wonderful place to get a delicious birthday cake.. just a tip: get the icebox cake. It’s worth it and when your guests see it and they ooo and ahh, as it’s really unique looking and very tasty. I like it because it’s not like a traditional cake. And no the cookies do not pull off, as one of my guests figured that out quickly.

I forgot to leave my review for them. After having not 1 but 2 bakeries either mess up my daughters birthday cupcakes or weren't able to do what was requested. Magnolia came through for what was needed. I do wish they had someone on staff that could do more designs but they were great & the cupcakes were so good. They were still very pretty as well.

We came here, the cupcakes were alright although on the expensive side for what you get in my view. It's an alright place, but I didn't feel like it was worth the hype or the price.

I need my banana pudding every once in a while and this place is my choice if I'm downtown.
Downtown spots are a bit pricey but you get some good tasting pudding. I like the classic. I did try the s'mores one before and that was too sweet for me. Even the classic is a bit more sweet than I'd make my own, but it's not an overpowering sugar-rush type of sweetness (maybe a bit, but not overpowering).
They have other treats as well and I'll have to try them at some point.

One of the best bakeries in downtown Chicago.. I have to make it to this bakery while in Chicago to indulge in their slices of cakes and pastries. It will not disappoint you. Call ahead if you are looking for a specific slice or cake because they may be sold out.

Beautiful vintage store. The Banana Puddin is the most delicious dessert. You must try it! People is friendly, you can pay cash or card. It is easy to find. The prices are a little high but it is worth to try it! They sale differnet pastries and coffee. There are tables inside and outside to enjoy Chicago's downtown! 100% recommended!

Never did I think I would ever be a banana pudding person but today’s visit to Magnolia bakery changed all of that. We ordered the classic and I was shocked at how creamy, flavourful, and full of fresh banana chunks the pudding was. I’m a changed woman. 10/10
