I will update with a positive review when management updates the opening dates and hours to reflect reality. Is Renaldi's closed permanently or only temporarily?? This is a long-operating neighborhood pizza joint that has served high quality pizza for decades. The past few times I have tried to eat here, however, the door is locked without explanation. A couple of weeks ago I came half an hour before closing and the door was locked. I assumed that they may have closed early that night as an unfortunately large number of businesses in the neighborhood have been closing early in recent months. Today, however, Renaldi's was shuttered and locked at 7PM on the night of an evening home Cubs game - the exact sort of evening when pizza pubs in this neighborhood usually do a brisk business. Please either update your business hours to reflect the reality of when this restaurant is actually operating, or if the restaurant is closed permanently it would be great to post some sort of sign on the door to indicate this. Great pizza but kinda doesn’t feel like it has any theme or any idea what it’s supposed to be, it’s a pizza place, dive into that maybe.

One of the most underrated pizza joints in Chicago. Perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. Eating it right out of the oven was definitely a game changer versus take out.

A GEM to the Lakeview EAST neighborhood since 1973!..Would get pizza/wings to go when my buddies lived in the neighborhood for FOOTBALL;Now I live in the neighborhood also and we still order our wings/pizza for football & wrestling PPV events!👍We also dine in occasionally..Definitely a Chicago classic.

This has been my favorite pizza place since I was a kid in the 80s and use to stop in after spending most of my allowance at the arcade across the street(Times-square). The smell of delicious pizza as you walk in and see the amazing pies behind the glass makes my mouth water. I always go for a couple of slices of thin crust sausage. The atmosphere is of an old Italian mom and pop joint. They take cash or credit and it’s a pretty quick place to get a slice and a coke. I think once you have a slice you may be hooked like I am. There’s a dining area inside and an outside patio as well. The prices are very fair and they serve alcohol. Enjoy the best pizza in town!

Dreaming of pizza? I love coming here for deep dish pizzas. They're heavy duty and delicious. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. You can taste how freshly the tomatoe sauce is. Staff is always friendly. Great place to stop and just grab a slice from as well.

My favorite pizza in Chicago. My family and I have been coming here for many years. Our favorite dishes are just a simple pepperoni pizza and then the linguine with clam sauce. Lots and lots of memories here. Every time I visit Chicago I make it a point to come here.

It doesn’t taste as good when you get their pizza take out, but their dine in pepperoni pizza is the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had. It reminds me of what I imagined ninja turtles pizza to taste like as a kid.

We went to this place just landed for vacations . We ordered a delicious stuff Chicago style pizza, delicious flavor and very fresh. Love the tomato sauce. Old style place with a lovely family traditional pictures on their side to side walls.
