I celebrated my Birthday at Ocean Cut! It was the best service I ever got, and I was treated like a queen. The staff really took care of me and my 8 girlfriends very well. The whole experience from making reservations to eating my last bite of dessert was such a breeze. I called ahead of time and the host on the phone made sure my requests were addressed and answered all my questions. She really helped me plan the night. My waiter, Roberto, was so professional yet so sweet. He made sure everything was going the way I wanted it to be, and made sure each of my guests were satisfied. I give him an A+ for the night. Not only was the service superb, the food was amazing as well. I am an absolute seafood lover, and the seafood was super fresh and delicious. I had the enormous seafood tower and multiple sharing plates. My friends that are not into seafood had a variety of alternative options to choose from, and they were satisfied with their steak and lamb chops. Plenty of good quality wine and champagne on the table. The restaurant has a great, open and vibrant atmosphere. This was a fantastic and memorable Birthday. As the seafood focused sibling to Chicago Cut Steakhouse, you get the same attention to detail to your seafood as CCut gives your steak. Start your journey at their market and select your still on ice fresh fish. For those of us that enjoy a little surf and turf, they still have all the favorites from the fishes land relatives. I was lucky to be able to have tried 4 types of fish with 3 separate preparations. All were great but two stood out. The butter sauce prep did not overpower the Dover Sole. While the Gurnard was sweet as expected with a hint of the grill on the back end.

Truly enjoyed my experience here went for the steak. Tried to go to Chicago cut but since there were no reservations available they recommended thier same chain nearby. Ryan our server knew this upon our arrival which was impressive and at the end of the dinner surprised us and made our drinks complimentary. Steak was absolutely delicious..very flavourful... service here is exceptional..a must visit when in Chicago... Miami visitor...

Lives up to the Chicago Cut name. The whole fish is incredible and you get to pick it out yourself if you want. Waitress was very attentive and explained all the different types of fish and their flavor profiles before letting us physically pick the specific fish we each wanted. Very cool. Great cocktails. Airy dining room. Met one of the owners and he was super nice. Can't recommend enough.

It was my birthday and wanted to go some where new and refreshing not the usual same old genre. Having dined at Chicago Cut expectations were quite high for our 1st Ocean Cut dinner. WOW! Liz our waitress was excellent very knowledgeable of menu and wine pairing. Brought several white wine choices for us to choose from. Liz knocked it out of the park helping us pick out seriously Delicious! dishes to go with our fish picks. Garrett was all over making sure I was having a Happy Birthday all of the staff was moving fluidly amongst all the full tables. They also have all of the to die for steaks that Chicago Cut has!! My group was in heaven with all the choices! I will be sending all of clients to this gem of the Chicago Cut restaurant group! HUGE Shout out to Terri D who has always been their to set up Epic nights out at Chicago Cut locations. We all thought prices were just fine especially with the seafood we have all fresh and perfectly cooked! Just Saying this because of other reviews. Ocean Cut top of our list for seafood in Chicago!
