Francesca's Bryn Mawr

My family went to this restaurant the other night. The food was delicious, the waitress Eliza was terrific, however the background music drove us crazy. Who plays '70s love songs at an Italian restaurant? I would highly suggest that they change the music from 70s love songs over to either jazz, swing, or big-band music. The music was very distracting all night...

Just went for our first time, definitely not our last! Cannot reccomend highly enough: the pizza verde, one of their staples, was flavorful, and the gnocchi with the goat cheese and artichokes tasted great! Every cocktail we tried was lovely. Service across the board was excellent and our server, Eliza, was very attentive and knowledgeable

I have eaten at Francesca's a few times. Food was always great and the service good. Last night we held my 50th birthday party there and they went above and beyond. There were 14 of us and they had a large table set up for us on the patio, which we had requested. Eliza was our server and she was phenomenal!!! Not easy taking care of a table that large, especially when we had a few late arrivals. She was so pleasant, professional, fun, and efficient. Our food was absolutely phenomenal, which it always is there. As the night wore on the weather brought us a few sprinkles which we didn't mind, there were table umbrellas, but then the wind really picked up. Gale the manager along with his staff came out and told us they had set up a private room to move our party to! They helped us get everything inside and Eliza continued to take great care of us. They really took care of us and helped to make my 50th so very, very special. We will be going there often and having more parties there for sure!

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience and meal I had at Francesca’s with my best friend. Our bartender/server, Michael, was just incredible: personable, attentive, so much fun to chat with while we had dinner at the bar. The food was great, the drinks were exceptional, and the whole experience was joyful. So happy to have such a great local spot.

The food was really delicious! However, the service was a stark contrast to delicious food. We saw our server at the beginning when he took our order. Someone else brought our food and I intended to order a wine to go with my dish. Unfortunately the server only came back when we had almost completely finished our meals. After we had finished all of our food, we waited 12 minutes before he came to clear the table and ask if we were ready to take the bill. I’m still giving four stars because I’ve heard from others that they’ve had great service. And the food was delicious!

Amazing Catering Team! My husband and I were forced to host our own wedding at home due to COVID-19. Francesca's catering team came through 100%!! Shiri and her team, including bartender Angie worked all night to make our guests comfortable. The food was excellent and fresh. Prices were reasonable. Thank you for everything you did to make our special day such a beautiful event.
