Our company hosted a river cruise outing and the Island Party Hut was great. It was a much more intimate setting than the usual architecture cruises - so we were able to network a bit more. The staff was fun, shared chicago stories along the way...but not too much, so we could talk with each other. The river tour they took was a lot longer/ better than others I've been on as well. And the captain, staff and bartender were all lovely - great to be around. Highly recommend!

On our first day in Chicago we went for a walk through Millennium Park and then round to the River walk. Thirst got the better of us so we stopped here for a quick beer which turned into a few beers and cocktails. A really lovely place to sit by the river, have a great cocktail and watch the world go by. Staff were so friendly and drinks were lovely. Thanks.

This place is my nirvana! Great vibes, great drinks, great atmosphere! By the riverfront, there’s tons of picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, tables, and benches to sit and chill at. Watch boats go in and out of Lake Michigan. They also have games that are free to play like ping pong, connect four, and cornhole. They got reggae playing and sometimes have bands playing Caribbean music. And the drinks are amazing. The painkiller is AMAZING! They also have a tiki themed boat you can rent out. This is my summer spot to people watch and drank! Check it out. You’ll love it!

Cool casual spot for drinks by the water! They have a bunch of picnic style tables you can sit at and enjoy the view of the river. Came here Saturday afternoon—it was warm weather so everywhere along the Riverwalk was packed! The line for drinks here was super long and took a while. They offer “bucket” drinks for $27 which is great—roughly triple the amount (if not more) of just a regular size drink which is $15! Food options are limited but they do offers a few snack options.
