Their hot dark chocolate is truly exceptional, with a rich flavor that isn't overly sweet. The shop is adorned with Christmas decorations in December and has a very cozy ambience with plenty of seatings available.

Easily one of the best hot chocolate drinks I've ever had. Exceedingly indulgent and delicious. We also picked up one of the Bolivia chocolate bars and it's just as good! Tho expensive it was worth every penny. Looking forward to going back for more.

Stumbled across this cozy place, walking around River North with a friend. The staff was friendly and helpful. Smooth and creamy hot chocolate. Great sit-down place for some great convo, and definitely will try the pastry and dessert next time.

Wonderful hidden gem with amazing desserts. Great spot to bring your date and enjoy fantastic french sweets.

The chocolate is expensive but delicious. They had lots of varieties to try from and taste the difference in cocoa beans. Also, wonderful treats were available. We went back a second time to get more for gifts!

I'm sold. Walked by this place on my way to another destination and turned around to get a coffee. So glad I did! The staff was exceptional, the Latte and Engadiner Nusstorte were delicious! Got a Lintzer Torte for later. Evidently they are renowned for their chocolate. Have to save that for another trip. Thanks again to a phenomenal staff and manager for making my visit so great!

Recommend: their signature hot chocolate was good, the place is really nice inside, the service was good, the lemon cake was was as good as it looked unfortunately - would skip on it.
The hot chocolate was good but it is a bit pricey for 1 small cup, a few other places around Chicago make as good or even better double amount for similar price, but then again this is basically downtown of the city. If in the area and want great hot chocolate it will be hard to beat this place, but I would not make a special trip or go out of my way to come here, especially with other places north west.
