Cafe Jumping Bean

I’ve been going to this cafe for over 17 years and it is hands down the best cafe in town! You can smell the coffee as you are approaching the door! The staff was always been awesome! I was 14 the first time my mom ever took me there! She was studying English at Instituto Latino and used to take me to swimming lessons at Sheridan Park so we would stop there for dinner sometimes, I started eating a chicken salad sandwich with hot coco and now my go to is the tuna foccacia sandwich with a Large Golden bean! The pastries are fresh and delicious but you seriously can’t beat the coffee taste ! Starbucks got nothing on Jumping bean! I can honestly say Jumping bean is a Chicago and Pilsen staple!!! To the staff, I hope you guys are around for many more years !!!

Found this spot while driving around Pilsen. Breakfast bagels and sandwiches are amazing. We had a Lox Bagel, and each bite was full of fresh and tasty ingredients. Coffee is delicious, we had an Iced Carmela, and it is tasty with notes of smoked caramel. The line goes out the door, so you know it is good!

I ordered the Mollete (I added avocado) & a oat milk latte with Mexican chocolate. Both were greats. Customer service was great. Food/beverage arrived promptly — even on a busy day. Medium sized menu. Enough to make me want to come back and try something else too. There is limited seating… less than 20 seats. Most took it to go. Overall good experience. Diverse crowd of folks coming it. I’d recommend checking it out.

Best Cuban sandwich for a fair price! The dirty chai is fairly priced & so good! The chocolate croissant tastes so good. I can't say enough good things about this place. I think it's Hispanic locally owned & I love to support that. The workers are attentive. I didn't order the lux bagel but I was shocked how cheap it was I would order it next time.
