Mr Beef & Pizza

There was a bit of a drop in the quality of the italian beef when the new owners took over. I'm not sure what they did, or if they switched up the recipe. But I could tell the difference. The pizza however has always stayed the same in my opinion. And that went on for a few months. And I was almost ready to give up on the place for good. However I kept going and I noticed that the quality of beef went back up again. They seem to have got it right. Still doesn't taste quite as good as it used to. But it is still pretty good. I remain a loyal customer and I really have no complaints. It's not the best beef in the city. But it's still very good. Johnny's may be better. But at Mr beef, the sandwiches are almost twice the size of Johnny's. And it's still better than the portillo's down the street on any day.

My friends had a discussion as to who had the best beef in the land. She insisted that it was Mr Beef, while I love another place that i still love. I will say this especially since it is getting harder and harder to find good beef these days and let me tell you, Portillos is NOT it. Mr Beef was amazing and I will go there every single time I happen to be in the area. I'm blessed to have 2 go to spots now depending on where I am. Lu Lu's on Ogden ave and Leavitt is the other spot in case you were curious. Keep up the great work Mr Beef, my friend gave me solid advice
