Food was fresh burger was good but hand cut fries were the bomb! This place is known foe their Milk shakes but I never have room for it. Old school sining experience folks.

Still an excellent "old school" burger and fries, in an old school establishment. I almost forgot just how wonderful nostalgia can be. Go, relush, enjoy...these place are getting more more scarce.

This is a destination for burgers! The fries are made fresh from potatoes every day. You cannot say that you have had a great burger until you try the King Cheese burger 🍔

I ordered the 3/4 lb Super King Size Deluxe Burger. Wow! Tasted great and perfectly cooked. So big, the bun would not cover my tasty beef pattie, (looked like the planet Saturn). Excellent atmosphere, you have to go....

I grew up with top notch and try to visit when I return to Chicago. It's a nice treat and comfort food at its best! I like the King deluxe which is very filling.

Had a pattymelt and a Ruben sandwich. Patty melt was good but we had better at Billy boys in ch ridge. The Ruben was not fatty and maybe the best one I have ever had. Very polite people. The atmosphere seemed like a mom and pip type of place in the country. I like this place a lot and will definitely go back. Its on 95th street but it was a relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed myself.

Food was okay, my kids complained that they could barely eat their burgers Because it was way too much cheese, they ended up scraping alot of cheese off, my chicken taco salad was okay, I rather of had no cheese then cut up sandwich cheese in my salad, had I know the cheese was cut up sandwich cheese I would've asked for no cheese. Fries were good.

If you're looking for a ole school diner on the Southside, with great food and service, Topnotch is the TOP place to go to.
Service was great and attentive. Food was on point, traditional style burgers made fresh, nothing frozen, and the shakes are to die for.
Ambience was awesome, has an old school diner look that Brought me back as a kid hanging out with my grandparents.
Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the Oak Lawn area!

I wish I'd known about this place a long time ago. The name definitely serves them right! They're burgers are 100% top notch. The service and atmosphere is excellent as well.

Service is great! Waitress was so attentive even thou there were only 2 for the whole restaurant and they also have to make the milkshakes.
Price is reasonable! Food cake out fast.
