Overall Thoughts: Delicious, garlicky jibaritos; exceptional service and inviting staff (Papa himself gave us a warm welcome too)! Indoor seating is limited, but they have a toasty, heated outdoor space for cold winter days. Prices are reasonable too. Food I tried: - Ribeye Steak Jibarito: The steak was super juicy and flavorful, and the plantain was quite densely flattened. Adding their garlic sauce on top added a nice kick. The arroz con gandules on the side was also extremely good-- a little crispy, very flavorful and aromatic. - Shredded Chicken Jibarito: The shredded chicken was also tender and juicy with great flavor, but I think the flavor of the steak was more robust, which I preferred. -- Price (relative to peers): 4.4/5 Food: 4.7/5 Ambience: 4.8/5 Service: 5/5 Overall Value: 4.7/5

Delicious! I definitely recommend this place. They have rotisserie chicken being made right in front of you. I got my food to go, but the restaurant itself is pretty small. They sell Pepsi products in cans. Very tasty and fresh. I tied the chicken and the steak tacos. I liked the steak one better. I definitely will be back

Great food! They give you complimentary bread and butter as a starter. I got the roasted chicken with tostones and a side of white rice. My sister also got the roasted chicken but with a side of sweet plantains and my kiddo got the kids nuggets with fries. Over all the food was delish & the ambiance was nice. They had someone playing music outside along with his saxophone. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they seemed to be backed up. I’m not sure if they’re short staffed, but it wasn’t too packed for them to have taken that long to take or give us our order. Took about 25 minutes to just take our order. Also the waitress would forget certain items and things we kindly asked for and we’d have to remind her to bring them, but she was nice! I still do recommend for everyone to try it, and I will certainly go again.

We were in Chicago visiting I am going to be honest I just checked tic tok for Puerto Rican restaurants and based on the presentation of the food in the video we chose this one and am I so very happy the food was amazing the we parked out front and went in and ordered .The flan was awesome the staff was so nice. I will definitely be returning

Now we are not questioning whether this is the best Jibarito in the city. I’m questioning whether this is the best meal under 15.00 in US? I eat here weekly, and they don’t miss. My go to is the steak Jibarito, steak sandwich, chicken Jibarito, and roasted chicken. You can top that off with any rice you like. Don’t take my word for it. Get over here ASAP!

Bro I've been to this spot a few times and I have to say they have one of the best Steak Jibarito in the city hands down 🔥🔥🔥. The sandwich is packed with flavor...I mean the steak is on point and everything goes well together, especially with the garlic sauce. Get it with Puerto Rican rice and pop left fat n happy. Overall 9.5

The food was so freaking delicious here. I went three days in a row with different people of course lol But I was completely blown away by the service everyone is so friendly. It makes you feel right at home. Everything was so good ...that chicken is awesome, packed full of flavor, my favorite is the steak, I had it three ways and it was delicious every time. The chicken salad was fantastic. You must try this place, anything you order you can't go wrong, you won't be disappointed.
