Jimmy's Pizza Cafe

I went here after seeing it was one of the top pizza spots for a new york style slice. Staff was really friendly, the pizza slice was pretty decent. I ordered fries and they were 6 bucks, more than a slice of pizza. It was a small box of just plain fries. Ended up paying 20 bucks for 2 slices and the small order of fries.

Best NY style slice of pizza you can get in the city! If have been in search of new york style pizza do not look any further. This spot has some decent history in the north side and has always been consistent in delivering a quality slice. May be on the pricer end for a slice but more than well worth it. I suggest ordering a whole pizza from the menu items or sampling a few different slices that are offered inside the display case. Make sure to ask for it well done if asking for a whole pizza if you're looking to obtain a nice crunch to your pizza. Finally, their garlic knots and beignets are not worth missing out on.

Stopped by Jimmy's Pizza Cafe after hearing quite a few good things about their pizza. I tried a slice of the Meat Lover's (pictured), a slice of the Quattro Funghi Truffle (pictured), and Jimmy's Garlic Knots (pictured.). First, the Meat Lover's was very good! A nice, thick slice with a nice sampling of different meats, very flavorful and filling. The mushroom slice was also quite tasty if it was a bit thinner. The garlic knots were also delicious! The service was great and I also was really very pleasantly surprised with how spacious the restaurant was! Several large booths and tables inside and wooden picnic tables set up outside as well. Made it almost feel like you were dining somewhere in the suburbs! Can't wait to come back to try some of their other slices! I would very highly recommend Jimmy's pizza, great taste at a great value!

I ordered delivery because I was craving an NYC style pizza. Jimmy’s blew me away. This pizza was SO SO GOOD!!! The pizza sauce is absolutely delicious, like freshly crushed, super juicy flavorful tomatoes. Also ordered the garlic knots- very good as well! Thick doughy and covered in butter and garlic. If you enjoy nyc style pizza, you will LOVE jimmy’s! I ordered plain cheese with a topping and it was perfection.

Great thin crust NY style pizza. I can’t rate this place high enough! We’ve been eating at Jimmy’s since before they moved. The new location is so nice! This is a great place to order a whole pizza, or to grab a few individual slices and a draft beer. I suggest trying a few different slices that they have in the display case, or ordering a whole pizza from the options they have on the menu. If you custom order a pizza, it’s easy to add too many toppings and then the pizza doesn’t come out great. Also, the pizza will end up being more expensive than it’s worth. So I say to stick with the topping combinations they offer - they’re perfect anyway! Our favorites have been the Windy City, the pepperoni, and the burrata slice. Plain cheese is also great. We tried a spicy pizza last time with chili oil, and it ended up being way too spicy for us. But I guarantee this place has a slice that you’ll love.

This is really solid New York style pizza! I highly recommend. They do whole pies and by the slice. Service seemed friendly, the space is pretty nice and quite large. We got a sausage slice, pepperoni slice, white slice, burrata slice, garlic knots, and a butter cookie, all of which we enjoyed. The flavors are great and have a good ratio of crust, cheese, and sauce. Definitely get some hot honey on top! It isn’t spicy, but adds a little sweetness which goes great with all the pizzas. I particularly enjoyed the burrata pizza and the white pizza.
