I tried philly’s best (Lakeview) for the first time and I was blown away by their quality. Some of the best sub sandwiches I’ve had in the city. I had the traditional Philly and my wife had the Buffalo chicken and we tried both styles of fries they had. All of it was great. It surprised us that we got a free piece of cake by spending +$20 and the cake was great too. They also have by the slice pizza that looked really good. This will become a regular spot for us.

I had the best Philly cheese steak I ever had in Chicago and I have had Philly cheese steak in Philly. I'm definitely going to go back when I'm in the area, it's a bit pricey $20 for a large Philly cheese steak but it's worth it.

One of my favorite spots in Chicago! The sandwiches are stuffed and fresh off the grill! You have to get it with mushrooms and cheese whiz! I wish there was a spot in the suburbs!

I haven't had many phillies in Chicago, nor do I know what they're supposed to taste like. However, it is definitely the best philly I've ever had.

The tables are dirty, the atmosphere is nothing to write home about, the service is inconsistent, the prices are an outrage.
None of that matters because this is the best cheesesteak in Chicago and it's not even close. The pizza is also extremely solid and they usually have slices ready to go. I'd give the food 6 stars if I could. Worth every penny and annoyance every time.

The 5 of us decided to have the offer of the day which is 2 slices of pizza with a drink for $9.90. There were just 5 slices of pizza left along with 1 deep dish slice. The new batch was only coming out in 20mins.
The lady generously offered us all the pizza plus 5 drinks and a large portion of fries for $19.80 (2 offer sets).
This was a great deal.
The pizza slices were decent especially topped up with a sprinkle of cheese and chilli flakes which were provided.
The deep dish slice was already cold and the base was hard.
But overall we got a great deal so thumbs up to the lady who served us.
