Great service, super friendly and casual but loud atmosphere — like cleaner gastropub vibes. There was a birthday party when I visited. The food was delicious! Definitely recommend the lumpia. The portions are good for sharing or for individual. The lechon sisig had great flavor without being too rich, the pork adobo was recommended by the owner and did not disappoint! Very tender and full of flavor. The sizzling kansi was sour and the shank was tender. Would recommend this one if you like sour tastes particularly. We got the halo halo which was $15 , which may seem expensive at first but it is a large portion enough for 5 people and is an experience in and of itself.

Kubo martini 8/10 - fruity and delicious! Red horse - 8/10 - tastes like a hoppy pilsner Lumpias - 8/10 - better than most Filipino noodle - 7/10 - kind of bland. Used the ghost pepper hot sauce which made it better. Would probably not order again Halo halo 10/10 - absolutely amazing. Shaved ice, smothered (sweetened condensed?) milk, topped with jellies and ube ice cream. Dump it in a bowl and mix it all up. I wish I had more room! I will definitely order again.

My favorite part of leaving reviews is taking photos. I ate my food so fast, because the delicious smells emanating from everywhere around me had me ravenous, and I didn't get one photograph.... I'll save it for next time, and they can go ahead and get 5 stars all around! We started off with the lumpia, which came out in 4 pieces, but each piece was easily the size of 2-3 regularly sized lumpias. They were perfectly crisp and full of flavor. My husband had the chicken pancit and I had the adobo ribs. First, the pancit was really good and had that garlicky flavor I love. The ribs though..... These have to be some of the best ribs I've ever had. They had a great crunch when I bit into them, but they were also SO tender.... The sauce was soy & vinegar based, and I mixed it in with the garlic rice & veggies. I could not have been happier with my dish, I almost wanted to throw manners to the wind and lick my plate! Just kidding, but again, that sauce is addicting. I'll definitely be back, but I don't know if I can bring myself to order something else but these ribs. They also have them in an appetizer size, but I don't think that would be big enough for me. We finished off the meal with a crème brulee that was made with a citrus fruit that I had never tried, and I forgot the name of, but it was really delicious. My husband had a mezcal drink with raspberry that I ended up stealing and drinking 90% of. The staff was super nice, checked in on us multiple times, and when I was curious about the citrus they used in the dessert the bartender brought me a small glass to try. The parking that we found was street parking. We had to park about a block away on a Saturday night, but that was ok with me. This was a great date night, and I can't wait to come back for the Adobo ribs!

Love Kubo, went last night with a theater date for across the street. The crab encrusted salmon was stellar, interesting take on the Caesar salad with a beautiful salad dressing, and the fried zucchini was a little thick on breading, but it worked great. Sam, as always is a good host with his partner, and I would go there more often if I was close. good wine selection as well. thank you guys!!!

My daughter and I decided to stop in and have a small meal before going to an event across the street from this restaurant. The decor was nice and inviting. We decided to sit on the patio area which was a nice setting that had a TV, candles lite and a good atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly. The drink that I had was a pear margarita and it was tasty. We decided to split a meal of the fried chicken sandwich with fries as a side. The food was yummy and we had no complaints. The bathrooms were clean. Overall, we would recommend this place for a it's drinks, food and atmosphere.
