Sushi X

I came here last week with company, and I always love to come back. Their rolls are decently priced (Mid-range $12-18/roll). The staff is attentive to their customers, although I did get a hair on my gyoza. I mentioned this to our server and he just said 'okay'. No follow up or resolution and still charged me for the gyoza. That was off-putting. The door was wide open in the front which was making the place very drafty and cold. Eventually it was closed and the lights were dimmed to give a moody effect. This place has cramped seating, and limited table space. There's a projector running vacation spots on the wall which is nice. The décor gives street art and also traditional. They really try, which makes this spot promising. I had a Pollo Loco roll which was good, and my company had the Megatron roll. 4 out of 5 stars - they need to listen to their customers when a problem arises. Hair on the food was a no-no. No follow up with that or to see if there was any in my roll after dropping it off at my table. Would I recommend this place? Yeah, good evening late night spot. Would recommend.

Picked up sushi to-go. Got the Crab Rangoon roll which was my favorite 5/5, Buddha roll (vegan) was delicious 5/5, spider roll was good but 3.5/5 got it on a deal, Pollo Loco chicken roll was yummy 5/5, and the Godzilla roll was delicious 5/5- got it on a deal. Overall pretty tasty rolls and seemed fresh to me! I like this place better than butterfly / all the average sushi places.

Love!! I didn't get any food photos because my sushi rolls were so delicious I couldn't stop eating them 😋😂 Great little spot - intimate and hip. Big video on the wall with good music, which added to the vibe. On top of that, the waiter and manager were both on top of their game and had great banter. We'd had some less than stellar interactions today, so it was great to be somewhere with friendly, helpful and *on it* staff. Prices were great for the quality of the food and seriously, it was so good. Five stars for everything, for sure. My friend got the mini platter with an unagi roll and loved it, I got the Godzilla roll and the Japan-a-Wrap, which was great. The last didn't have rice which was kind of incredible - i don't think I've ever encountered a sushi spot that had rice free rolls but i would have killed for those when I was on a low carb diet. Thankfully, now I can eat rice to my heart's content, but I was just delighted to see an option like that! This would be a great spot for a date night- it was cozy enough that you could talk to your table partners but also had enough background noise to keep from hearing other's conversations.

This place has extremely fresh sushi. They have rolls of the month that rotate at unbelievably low prices. I personally love the Red Dragon Roll and it’s $9 most of the time. I live right around the corner and find myself getting Sushi X over all the overly priced places in the area. Plus it’s BYOB if you want to stop in with a bottle of wine too!

This was my first time here, and met with V, who is the co owner of the restaurant. We had a great conversation and I tried the restaurants spicy chicken and oh my, it was really great. I will highly recommend trying Sushi X if you are in the area. The staff and owner are very welcoming, personable and very helpful. I will be coming back for sushi 😏

First time here — great environment and staff. - The food, PHENOMENAL. I had the Omega sushi roll and Panko Chicken. Let me tell you, the quality of the food is one of the first things you recognize when you’re here. My friends sushi is in the other picture I included. DELICIOUS and amazing. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. You feel like you’re family with them. Michelle was great and such a warm energy this business has. I will be back again — and again… and again 😂 Everything was amazing, thanks!

You can’t miss this place since the front of the restaurant is covered in a huge mural of a woman. Dinning room is small, maybe 7 tables. The staff is super friendly. There is plants street parking around. Check out their monthly deals for heavily discounted items. Tried the DoubleStack With tuna, salmon, cilantro, avocado, mayo, masago and citrus chili ponzu and the Spicy Tuna w/ masago, sriracha and mayo. Both were very good
