Yolk - Wicker Park

A fairly nice breakfast cafe with ample seating. Food is reasonably priced with ample portions, pancakes have a lot of added vanilla but I think that helped them stand out and be a bit tastier. Self branded hot sauce at the table is a nice touch and the habenero stuff was very flavorful. Comparing to the other options around wicker/ bucktown, I wouldn't put it on top, but it's a solid pick, if you're out early.

It was quiet when we got there. As more people came in the wait staff handled them without any stress. The waiter we had was very nice and answered any questions I had. Because I have food allergies, I let him know and he said he would make sure the item wasn’t in the food. I really enjoyed having brunch there and I will be going back taking other friends.

This is a great place to eat breakfast food. The amount of food and how much it costs is reasonable. They have the normal american breakfast options but I ordered the granola yogurt, eggs benedetic and el torero scramble. Even it was a great place to stop by on Saturday morning, I don't give them 5 starts because the food was fine, nothing out of normal. The servers where very kind and fast, and they were attentive to everything that we needed. I will go back.

Had lunch here today for the first time, and when our server greeted us, a small child from the next table came over and hugged him. So adorable. And I have to say, the service from this young man was excellent. Pure positive vibes which left a good impression of the whole business. That little kid was a good judge of character! Just wanted to give your staff kudos!
