Papa Chris' Place

So today I went to Papa Chris place to give it a try and let me tell you I was blown away at the fantastic service and delicious meals they were serving. I could hear the lambs mowing in the back as they were slaughtered for fresh sandwiches the sour cream was so delicious that the cows must’ve been slaughtered in the back as well. They put a touch of mint in the sour cream too. The burger was at least 2 1/2 pounds, and at least 40 pounds parking wasn’t an issue I was able to pull in my whole 63 foot semi trailer in the parking lot and it fit perfectly between two Prius. They also provided valet parking I even saw Jeff Bezos come by and park his helicopter on the roof and they validated and flew it over to the leaning tower of Pisa next across the street the chocolate shake was made out of Ghirardelli chocolate, I saw the chef whipping the whip cream hand and they picked the cherry off the marsh cherry tree in the back overall very good experience definitely would be eating breakfast lunch and dinner here every day from now on they also invited me family Christmas party and gave me thousands of dollars worth of gifts. That’s perfect.

Stopped by Papa Chris' looking for a quick, late lunch and everything I had really hit the spot! I ordered their hamburger (everything on it) with fries, and it was really good and a great value! Tasty hamburger with lots of toppings and their fries are thick, crinkle fries, perfectly cooked. If you're in their stretch of Touhy, I definitely recommend stopping in for some good food!

Great family restaurant! Food is fast, fresh, and yummy! Good portions for the price. Friendly staff and clean establishment. Came by last week and had the special ( chicken parm) it was outstanding! Have never had a sub par meal here. We make a point to stop here on our way to Costco. My husband loves their gyros, my mother in law the patty melt. If your in the area stop by you won't be disappointed.

Pam and Nick are the best! I have been going there for at least 9 years now, although it doesn't feel like it's been so long. My grandmother introduced Me to Papa Chris' place, at least in 2014, a couple years before her passing, if not a bit before 2014. The food is top-notch, the staff are friendly, and screw that guy whose review said otherwise! I only go maybe a couple times in the summer, while I'm up from Florida. Not only am I amazed that they remember Me, but I also see and hear their interactions with others. They put family in family business. I cannot suggest this place nearly enough!

Was in Skokie at the Backlot Bash. The band I wanted to see ended and I was leaving, while walking to my car, I checked Google maps for "gyros" and this was the place that came up. High rating, close to where I was, easy drive. Sold. Google maps was not wrong. Very good gyros. Very friendly people. And the view from my table was cool too. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Papa Chris’ has been at this location over for 35 years and we know why! The food is sensational. I got the gyro plate and my aunt got the gyro sandwich. The portions were generous and tasty. I had enough food to bring back home for another meal. The decor inside makes us feel like an old school Chicago place. Right off of Touhy Avenue, this is an easy location to go to. We will definitely be back soon. The staff and owners are great!
