Illinois Bar And Grill On 47th

This is one of those gem bars on the Southside of Chicago. The atmosphere is awesome - not too loud so you can actually have a conversation. The food is top notch with the burgers being some of the best you'll ever eat. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Overall, a must visit bar/restaurant.

Really friendly staff and service and nice vibe and atmosphere. The food was good, and the portions were large. I recommend asking them to cut the burger in half and sharing with your friend. The wings were plain and lacked much flavor, but were pretty big and came with fries and sauce on the side. The fries were good. We also had onion rings and jalapeño poppers that both cane with sauce. Everything was good and was large in portion size. Everything came out to $20 per person between me and my 1 friend. Great deal, would come again.

Was in the area with my daughter and my girl. They have never had IBG. So, we stopped and picked up some burgers to go. They both got the original burger. I got the baby burger. They loved the burger. My daughter got bacon on hers. The burgers were nice and juicy, cooked very well. Fries were nice and crispy. Service was great. I miss coming here, since I don't live in the area anymore. But I will be coming back for sure.
