Morton's Of Chicago

We had a great time here celebrating our 3 year anniversary. The service was incredible, we appreciated that they showed you the different cuts prior to ordering. The bread was delicious, their butter was super rich and looked almost like whipped cream. The potatoes were fantastic, same with their caesar salad. Now it’s time to talk about why this is 4 stars instead of 5... We don’t eat steak that often, and when we do we like when it has a thicker salt crust. These steaks were lightly salted, so while very delicious, the lack of salt didn’t bring out it’s full flavor. This isn’t out of the ordinary for steak houses though, we’ve only been to 2 restaurants during our relationship that were generous with the amount of salt they used. With that though, this was still an amazing meal. I think we would go back for special occasions.

I was very displeased with my order today, I drove down from Wisconsin and wanted Morton’s badly, I requested no pork in my potatoes they served it with pork!! my grandmas salad was horrible just a huge chunk of lettuces with the condiments thrown on the sides, I asked for butter/(ghee) for my asparagus and they failed to do so. Morton’s use to be a favorite of mine unfortunately I will not be returning, huge disappointment today... I was told the potatoes couldn’t be made without bacon?! Is this prepackaged? Whatever the case farewell Morton’s!! I gave it two stars because the manager did apologize after I called to complain about my dissatisfaction.

AMAZING FOOD, classy atmosphere, superb staff and service. Motons went above and beyond for our anniversary. From the custom printed menus to the framed photo. All of which were a surprise. Our waitress Maria was by far the most professional and courteous we have ever encountered. We WILL be coming back next year to celebrate with Morton's again. A+

Immaculate service, great food, and nice atmosphere. This place is quite the experience and I'd love to come back sometime. We decided to go for restaurant week and Morton's offers one of the best deals in the city. I'd highly recommend going to this location in particular. The only thing that didn't impress us was the lobster bisque. A bit watery and just one giant chunk of lobster which made it difficult to eat. I'd prefer a thicker bisque and smaller bite size pieces of lobster to have some with every bite. The steaks and sides were super good tho and I'd recommend going with the truffle butter also. Enjoy!
