Niko's Gyros

Not sure what happened to this place. It was open and everytime I came in to pick-up my order, there were always patrons there. Permanently closed??? This place left it's customers hanging. But I also understand the covid restrictions that went down in this city. I'm sure it was a battle for restaurants. I also can see them losing customers to all the food establishments popping up in this area like Chik-fil-A and Panera, etc... We always ordered ahead of time because I knew they took their time with their orders. After reading the other reviews on this place, I am glad we never went through the Drive-Thru or dined in. I used to order the jerk chicken burrito and a side of Greek fries and my husband would get a chicken kabob plate seasoned with lemon pepper with onions, tomatoes and bell peppers. He never cared for the pita bread but they always included it. I miss this place. I didnt eat here all the time, but I have been craving this place for a while now. We are the body shop with the purple sign across the street on Elston, and from a business owner perspective, we all struggle with or without a pandemic. This city does NOT make it easy to run any business. Taxes are ridiculous. Permitting and the different sectors of the city that demand permits for the same thing is not cheap. The pandemic and its mandates did not help business owners at all.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the Amazing staff here! I had a Tex Mex Bowl and smoothie, loved them both! Chicken tasted great, had that grilled flavor while still super juicy. Smoothie was made to order and fresh! Looking forward to the next time to try more of the menu.

The food was delicious, I'm not sure if they rinsed the beans or just took them straight out of a can but my dish was a bit salty. However I was able to handle it with their delicious lemonade. Their sundaes are a bit expensive got one for me and my brother and it was almost 15 bucks for both of us, for a medium. Overall, I enjoyed everything and plan to come back, hopefully the prices are lowered just a bit.

Stopped in for a quick sandwich on a busy day. Finally got my sandwich a half hour later because their printer failed to tell the cook about my order. Boy sometimes it would be nice to deal with people instead of computers. They only had 4 customers and half of us are sitting there without food. Far out stuff.

Order via drive thru. Prompt service and the lady handled my order well. I did the Bacon Bleu Burger, side of onion rings and a mango-dragon fruit lemonade. Was very impressed by how refreshing the lemonade was, beats Starbucks take on it by miles. The burger was great although slightly more well-done than what I’m accustomed to. I did not like the onion rings tho. They were great texture but they had a bitter taste to them and that taste transferred over to the burger and drink I had. Not sure why this was but it was not enjoyable. However great food
