Sink Swim

I went here for an oyster happy hour deal and it was incredible. I loved the decor and the music. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu including the cocktails. While some of the food was expensive, I think it was worth it for such a delicious meal. I'm definitely coming back and bringing friends.

We are from out of town and this restaurant was suggested by our Airbnb hosts. What a pleasure! The space is huge. The decoration is stylish and whimsical. The food was excellent and our server couldn't have been more helpful. It was a slow night, and she gave us a free dessert and nightcap! A wonderful experience . And yes, good cocktails and cool music.

The walls are white and sparsely decorated. The cyan huge benched in the booth caught me eye immediately. The booths look large enough to seat eight. We get a table in the back, and we order the oysters and the monk fish liver torchon. It was very tasty but the serving was so small, I was surprised. Though it tasted very good, there was so little of it, it was a tease. The wife wanted to order another one, but we did not. The oysters were east coast and or west coast, we got 3 of each. The oysters were very fresh. For our entree she ordered the Spagehttone and I had the braised walleye. Both dishes we tasty, but on the smallish side. The food is very good, but do not go here hungry.

After giving sink / swim a second try, I was pretty pleased with it. They clearly learned from their lackluster opening a while back and made some adjustments. The scallops I had were delicious, although I didn't love the pickled flavor of the pine nuts that came with them. Overall a good improvement to my first experience there, though, and I'll likely be back again sometime.
