Siri Indian Retaurant

We visited this place in summer of 2018 when I was presenting at an international conference. The menu, especially the upma, was outstanding. I went there just to have one time try but after tasting their food we went there 4 times during my 3 days stay. This was one of the best quality (food, presentation, quantity, and professionalism) restaurants after several years of dining at multiple locations around the US. One of the best ones.

Delicious, authentic flavors at an affordable price. This new place will certainly create some ripples in its category. Tomato Soup was great, loved the garlicky twist in the flavour. Their menu has a nice assortment of Indian street food and curries. It's hard to find that crunchy Crispy Baby Corn in Chicago. Will visit again 👍

Small restaurant, but makes up for it with its flavor! The hot and sour soup with chicken is very good, but very spicy. The waitress was nice enough to inform us how spicy it is, which I wish more restaurants would do. The chicken curry (medium spice) had a lot of flavor and nice spice. I’d recommend the medium spice level if you want some heat but not over powering. We were visiting the city and we would recommend trying this place, and we would come back when we visit Chicago again!

This review has been long due, I have been eating here since this placed opened due to lack of availability of indian options in the area and would have changed a while back if there were any options. in the area To start off the food I ordered recently was extremely salty and didn't even taste well, plus found hair in the food I had guests over and it was really a horrible experience. They don't even put on mask in the kitchen when I go to pick up the food I have seen the people in the kitchen have their masks down not even covering their face. Food Quality - the quality of this place dropped immensely and most of the curries are average. The tandoor items are horrible and biryani is average Spice - spice level is quite fine tbh as long as u tell them to adjust it Delivery - whenever I have ordered from here I always get the delivery after 1 hour even though I stay nearby, even during pick up order I have ended up waiting for order way beyond the estimated time they told me Service - whenever I dined here pre covid there was always delay in service sometimes we had to wait for hours for food to arrive on our table and I don't even blame the waiters because most of the time it was understaffed and only one person used to run around the entire restraunt. Also one of the waiters himself told me they don't even let them take the tips which made me feel really bad There are way better places than this, where u will get good quality indian food and honestly most of the 5 star reviews on here aren't not even authentic
