MAK is our go-to date night spot or hangry spot or friends-in-town-and-we-need-an-impressive-snack spot. The wings are absolutely incredible, we get a double order every time and fight over them they’re so good. The Gogi with beef is also awesome as are the egg rolls. MAK’s team is friendly, fast, and super helpful. They have a patio to eat your carry out at during Covid and great drink specials often on wine and sake and MARS beers too. A favorite spot in Wicker Park for sure!

TLDR: inexpensive and tasty. Food = 4 star, The service = 6 stars The staff and service is top notch. I’m not sure what I was expecting but the folks here went above and beyond. The girl behind the counter was especially helpful. Everything was good, but I will be back specifically because the employees are great. The food is what you expect. Bowls, soups, wraps etc etc. it’s very very good for the price and it comes out fairly fast. The environment is nice. It’s small, cozy and very chill. The chork thing is a little weird, I think I would prefer just basic chopsticks.
