Attentive and very friendly staff. Great selection of food, caters also for gluten and dairy free. Happy to accommodate without making you feel like a leper. I was told they are currently reviewing their menu, hopefully, not too much! Great atmosphere, well supported the last few times we were there. Certainly one of our favourite restaurants.

An amazing and interesting restaurant and bar in the CBD by the Arts Centre. Good service and friendly staff. There lack of interest in acknowledging a large number of quick hits for a featured image was somewhat surprising. Do note is not at all cheap to buy drinks as a large glass of beer and house hardonnay cost $24.50. Nonethe less I recommend heading around the back to the outdoor seating area. Bar meals are available and the wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce was very nice.

I've heard good things, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was great, presented nicely and generous portions. Service was excellent, especially from the energetic hirsute gentleman. Although we only had one course and a wine, there was no pressure for us to leave as we sat and chatted for a while. Decor is fascinating and homely at the same time. Prices are a little on the high side for a Christchurch restaurant, but well worth it for what you get (and the service). Final words: Book a table now.
