Gatehouse Cafe

Outstanding cafe in Canterbury. Just on the fringe of the Christchurch City.. The cafe experience started when you driving away from the buzzing city toward a more rural setting. The name gatehouse obviously located at an entrance point which is at the Innovation Park. The elevated of the cafe site give a better visual of the Canterbury landscape. Additional to the beautiful location and lots of parking. The coffee are well serve and the meal I ordered was outstanding. The private meeting room is worth mention as many might consider meeting or birthday party for future venue. Highly recommend!

What an absolutely delightful cafe ! Cute little coffee shop serving a multitude of beverages including coffee and smoothies. They also had a large selection of savory and sweet pastries, a nice selection of imported and unique snacks, ice cream, and more. The food is great! The coffee is amazing! Such a relaxing atmosphere! Excellent gluten friendly options, much appreciated ✅

As foreigners staying with friends near Christchurch, they brought us here for a late breakfast/early lunch. We were so happy they did because it was amazing. All the food was fantastic and pleasantly presented. It’s kid friendly and very clean and comfortable. It’s under new ownership and they were very attentive to make sure we were satisfied. Great place!

A little gem in the west. They have some really good food, at affordable prices, make sure to also check out the menu on the board. I had the best popcorn chicken in a very long time. 🤤Crispy, rippled thin batter and very juicy, with waffle/ bacon/ maple syrup and banana. Classic twist on the chicken waffle! Latte was on point too 👍 The team is super friendly and keeps the cafe very clean and cozy. Great atmosphere, a must try! 🔥
