The best experience that I stay in Christchurch for trave during the labour holiday. Food and service are excellent with super nice smile on the staff on their face.
Food quantity far more exceed than the price while the restaurant with Chinese traditional decoration.

The roast duck, pork belly, beef, kungpao chicken
dishes and the tofu soup are excellent. The service is friendly to me, looks like a traditional family bussiness only a couple run the restaurant. Due to the culture and language limitation, you may not feel like 5 star services here. The atmosphere feel like Asian. Thanks

I worked for Cliff 41 years ago.. he is a great chef and makes the best char siu (honey bbq pork) in town...and sweet & sour pork, Beijing pork is fav..try it out...highly recommend

This has to be the best roast duck in Christchurch. I don't know about the rest of New Zealand but this little tucked away place in Riccarton Road is a delightful secret.

You have to try, I think it's No1 roasted Beijing duck in Christchurch, owners keep the traditional way to make delicious food over 20 years.
Most well-known Chinese restaurants does kiwi style faked Chinese meals in chch, so disappoint!

Great food, recommend the duck pancakes 👌🏾 Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Been there a number of times with different size groups and always had an enjoyable experience.
Highly recommend this restaurant, pricing very reasonable. They are licensed with a decent selection but you can also BYO which makes it that much more affordable dining out.
